Road Trip Part Deux

On Sunday we went to the Tulsa Zoo. They have a fairly new penguin exhibit and since Scott's still doing all the research he can while SCZ is constructing their own exhibit we couldn't be in the area and not go check it out. Plus, it's a zoo and that's what our family does...go to zoos. :o)



This is Chewie, the African penguin (Scott could tell you the exact species name). The penguins that SCZ is getting are similar in size to these, but not this exact species.






They have a walk-thru butterfly exhibit and these were just outside it. Colin makes a pretty darn cute "buh-fwhy", dont' you think??






We had to ride the carousel, of course. ;O) Guess what animal Colin rode on?? A penguin. (Betcha can't guess who picked that one out??)
